Hart is a head instructor with Microbial Warrior® International, the highest‑level forensic restoration training organization in the world, and serves as Scientific Advisor and co‑instructor alongside Jeff Jones, the originator of Forensic Restoration™.
Hart’s contributions to the field include patented HVAC decontamination equipment and methodologies, authorship of internationally used cleaning and decontamination standards, and multiple groundbreaking, peer‑reviewed research papers that have advanced the scientific understanding of contamination control. He also serves as an officer in the Biosecurity Emergency Response Team (BERT) and sits on the board of its partner organization, the Scientific Operators Group (SOG), together forming BERT‑SOG.
David teaches Forensic Restoration™ courses across the United States, covering crime and trauma scenes, unattended death, homicide, suicide, methamphetamine and fentanyl contamination, and mold abatement. In 2023, he delivered the opening keynote at an international restoration summit in Queensland, Australia on the subject of fentanyl abatement.
